# Deploy your voice agent

> Put a Bolna Voice AI agent in front of callers: get phone numbers, place outbound and batch calls, answer inbound calls, connect telephony, or embed web calls.

Once your agent is configured, choose how people reach it. Most teams start with a Bolna phone number and outbound calls, then add inbound calling, batch campaigns, or their own telephony as they scale.

## Get a phone number

  </Card>

  <Card title="140 & 160-series" icon="building-columns" href="/docs/obtaining-regulated-phone-numbers">
    Get regulated series numbers for promotional and transactional calling in India.
  </Card>

  </Card>

Before buying numbers on Bolna, submit a one-time [compliance application](/docs/compliance-application/introduction). See the documents required and [how to submit them](/docs/compliance-application/how-to-submit-guide).

## Make and receive calls

    Upload a CSV and schedule a calling campaign.
  </Card>

  </Card>

  <Card title="Web calls" icon="browser" href="/docs/developer-resources/sdks/web-call">

  </Card>

New to calling? Follow the [inbound quickstart](/docs/quickstarts/inbound) or the [batch calling API quickstart](/docs/quickstarts/batch). Inbound agents can also [route callers through an IVR](/docs/inbound/ivr), [identify callers](/docs/customizations/identify-incoming-callers) and [block unwanted numbers](/docs/customizations/block-incoming-callers).

Keep campaigns healthy with [auto-retry](/docs/outbound/auto-retry) for calls that did not connect and [calling guardrails](/docs/outbound/calling-guardrails) to restrict calls to allowed hours. During a call you can [hang up programmatically](/docs/outbound/hangup-calls) or collect [keypad input](/docs/inbound/dtmf).

## Connect your own telephony

Use your existing carrier account instead of a Bolna number. See [telephony setup](/docs/supported-telephony-providers) to compare the options.

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Twilio" href="/docs/twilio">Connect your Twilio account.</Card>
  <Card title="Plivo" href="/docs/plivo">Connect your Plivo account.</Card>
  <Card title="Exotel" href="/docs/exotel">Connect your Exotel account.</Card>
  <Card title="Vobiz" href="/docs/vobiz">Connect your Vobiz account.</Card>
  <Card title="SIP trunk" href="/docs/sip-trunking/introduction">Bring any SIP trunk (BYOT).</Card>
</CardGroup>

For a SIP trunk, start with [setup](/docs/sip-trunking/byot-setup), then use the [API examples and field reference](/docs/sip-trunking/api-examples) to create it.

## Before you go live

Work through the [launch checklist](/docs/production/readiness-checklist) and [test your agent](/docs/production/test-before-calling-customers) before it calls real customers.
